The baseball bat is a weapon with average damage and speed. Its utility comes from its projection combo, which knocks back enemies within its area of effect, making it a great tool for clearing a path through enemies without having to fight them, or escaping from a bad situation. It can also stun enemies, in addition to knocking them into walls which stuns them anyway.
Baseball bats are also a good source of wood when salvaged, and can be used to fuel a campfire by a large amount. They are craftable on the Assembling table as a level 2 recipe. This item has an upgraded version called studded baseball bat, and a legendary version called Babe Ruth's winning bat.
